A Vice President with Edelman's Crisis & Risk Management practice, Megan Mrazek provides strategic counsel and communications support to clients and outside counsel both in the face of and in preparation for potential reputational crises. Megan's expertise lies in developing proactive and reactive reputational risk mitigation strategies for issues including product recalls, employee misconduct, catastrophic events and government investigations. In addition to live issue response, Megan works with clients to develop comprehensive crisis planning programs and facilitates crisis simulations and corporate media trainings. Her recent client work includes crisis and issues management and planning for clients in the food and beverage, energy, technology, CPG, healthcare, education, manufacturing and financial services industries. Megan joined Edelman as part of the Edelman Associate Enrichment Program. During this 18-month rotational program, Megan worked on the Digital Strategy, Consumer Marketing, Creative Planning, Corporate Communications and Media Services practice teams. As a part of this program, Megan helped to execute Olympics programming for Team Kellogg's during the Sochi Olympics, including content development and management, real-time monitoring and analytics, crisis planning and media relations. Additionally, she supported product launches and brand activations, and managed influencer relationships, media placements and press kit development for consumer brands. Prior to joining Edelman, Megan worked in the Office of Public Relations at the University of Notre Dame, supporting the University's media strategy and outreach, and served as a media relations associate for boutique firm Blaze PR in Santa Monica, CA.
