Dr. Jan Beringer

After studying chemistry with a special focus on textile and fiber chemistry at the University of Stuttgart, Dr. Beringer started his career as Head of the Competence Center Innovative Textiles at Hohenstein Institute. From 2009 to 2015 he was the Head of Research and Development of the Department Function and Care. From 2015 to 2017 he was the Head of Development of the Department Function and Care. Since 2018 he is the Scientific Export of the Department Life Science and Care, Dr. Beringer has extensive knowledge in textile and fiber chemistry, functionalization, coating and finishing and clothing physiology (comfort) for applications such as performance apparel and PPE.
