Attachments Energy Rating Council (AERC)


As Project Manager for the Attachments Energy Rating Council (AERC), Ms. Burns works with program partners to develop technical standards, certification procedures, and educational materials for a new energy efficiency certification program for residential window attachments. Erika also leads the development of AERC's commercial program. Erika previously managed the Low-E Storm Window Market Expansion Pilot for Focus on Energy Wisconsin, which incentivized retail sales of low-E storm windows, exceeded the stated pilot goals, and then facilitated the expansion to a statewide program in 2018. Ms. Burns has experience with data analysis and reporting for certification and utility efficiency incentive programs, and has engaged with window attachment industry stakeholders in addition to leaders and stakeholders of the lighting, builders hardware, and HVAC industries.
