Oona Oksjarvi is a product development engineer with Nypro (a Jabil company), where she works in a team focusing on textile and electronics integration. She works on development of E-textiles products from concept to mass production introduction. Her main role is product and process quality, reliability and verification. She works closely with customers to help them to develop key product requirements. Oona’s background is in textiles and clothing industry. She has a B.E. in Textile and Clothing technology and experience of working for different clothing brands. She has been working with E-textiles manufacturing for five years. During this time, she has been part of several wearables/e-textiles product development projects and NPIs to the production site. She has worked with product development for both sports and medical industries.
