Brandt Sharp is the Vice President of Sharp’s Tarps, Inc. As a member of the Sharp family and working for over 20 years in the business, Brandt’s focus has been on company growth and taking new products from the concept phase to market. From sales to product design and implementation of manufacturing processes, Brandt gets excited about new technology emerging in the industrial fabric products industry. Having started his employment with the company as a young teenager in the shop and graphics department, he is now active in all aspects of the business and looks to continue the family legacy begun originally by his grandfather in southern Oregon and later by his father in Salt Lake City, Utah. One of his favorite parts of working in the business is his close, daily association with his father, Jeff, who continues to work in the business today. Brandt has been an active member of IFAI and values the benefits of association with others in the industry. He participates with MFA, PAMA and is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Tarp Association. The operations of the business keep Brandt busy in the daytime, but as the father of 5 boys and 1 girl, he stays plenty active in the afterhours together with his wife Kelly.
