Thomas Stegmaier is the manager of research for Technical Textiles at the German Research Institutes in Denkendorf. He is involved in several German and European working circles and scientific committees and vice president of the “International Society of Bionic Engineering - ISBE”. With his teams he develops new applications with fiber based materials. He received several scientific awards.
