American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI)


As Vice President of Research for the American Transportation Research Institute, Dan is responsible for developing and directing ATRI's substantial portfolio of trucking and transportation-related research and training initiatives. Dan works closely with academia, industry representatives, other research entities and all levels of government to identify and address the pressing needs of transportation stakeholders -- with a particular emphasis on: Safety & Human Factors; Economic Analyses; Technology & Training; Transportation Security And Environmental Factors. Dan has previously served the ATRI and its predecessor (ATA Foundation) as its director of technology research and as its senior policy analyst.
