Greg is a lead wireless engineer within the Black & Veatch Telecommunication Private Network group. The Private Network group provides end to end communications technology evaluation, network design and build services. Prior to joining Black & Veatch, Greg served the telecommunications industry in a variety of roles including, Director of Backhaul at Samsung, RF Manager at Ericsson, RF Manager at Clearwire, and many engineering management roles at Sprint. His telecommunications experience spans 17 years. He has engineered, deployed and operated thousands of Radio Access Network (RAN) and Transport sites on many networks. He has evaluated, engineered, and deployed a variety of both wired and wireless technologies including 5G, LTE, WiMAX, CDMA, Microwave, DWDM, SONET, IP, Ethernet and Satellite. Prior to his career in the telecommunications industry, Greg was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force where he was a flight test engineer supporting some of the nation's most critical and top secret missions. He has a B.S.E from the University of Michigan. He lives with his wife Julie and three children in Overland Park, KS.
