Shari is the Global Ergonomic Program Manager for VMware based out of Palo Alto in the Silicon Valley. Responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of the Ergonomic Program for 33,000 employees in over 58 countries. Prior to this, Shari has worked for Google, Seagate, Symantec, Abbott Labs, Fresh Express, Driscoll Farms, Universities, and a variety of utilities such as PGE, East Bay Mudd and the San Jose Water District; in Industrial, Office, Assembly, Laboratory and field labor settings. She has been a practicing Occupational Therapist for over 30 years with a specialty in Repetitive Strain Injuries and Pain Syndromes. Shari holds degrees as an Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist, and Certified Industrial Ergonomist. She also holds a Certificate in Supervision and Management.
