Iain leads the team responsible for Allianz's US renewable energy equity investments. Since entering the market in December 2015 Allianz has committed over $1.6bn in wind farm tax equity. The team is also looking to develop cash equity investment opportunities in North American renewables. Iain is a founding member of Allianz's European renewable energy team established in 2005. Allianz has invested over €3.5 billion in a portfolio of 80+ wind and solar parks across Europe. It is one of the largest institutional owners of renewable energy projects in Europe. Previously, Iain held roles as SVP Offshore Wind at Shell Wind Energy and as Regional Head of Asia for International Power. He has over 30 years experience of power project development and financing in Europe, South-East Asia and the USA. Currently based out of London and New York he has also lived in The Netherlands, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.
