After a M.Sc. degree in Biology, Ms. Mercier-Blais joined in 2015 Yves Prairie research lab at Université du Québec à Montréal as a research associate to work on the G-res Tool project. This research project is modelling the variability of GHG emissions from hydropower reservoirs and allowed the development of an easily accessible tool to calculate individual reservoir footprints.
