Mr. Stamus specializes in data analysis and quality control; numerical analysis and forecasting; and wind resource assessment. Stamus began his career in meteorology in 1985 and entered the energy field in 2010. Previously, he worked at V-Bar for 6 years where he was a key developer of the company’s high-resolution numerical modeling system. Over the years, he has collaborated on projects with various U.S. governmental bodies, such as the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the National Weather Service, and the Department of Defense. One of these projects involved installing a high-resolution numerical analysis and modeling system at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Stamus holds a B.S. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science from the University of Michigan, and an M.S. in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
