SAA Executive Director John Forester, joined the SAA in January 2002. Prior to joining the SAA, he spent the majority of his professional career as the Director of Education and Development for the nonpartisan Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance (WISTAX). He also served the Wisconsin Manufactures & Commerce (WMC) as its Director of Business World, and then-Lieutenant Governor Scott McCallum as a staff assistant. A UW-Whitewater graduate trained as a social studies teacher, John also holds a Master of Arts degree in History from UW-Madison.
