David Maloney is the US Regional Manager for DNV GL’s Renewable Certifications. As a Geotechnical Engineer with more than 12 years of experience, David has a detailed knowledge of the efforts required to investigate, characterize and design an offshore wind farm. Past US projects include the Cape Wind project, the first Offshore Wind Project to successfully receive BOEM approval for an FDR & FIR. David has also served as a member of the Independent Technical Review Panel for the widely recognized PISA joint industry project and has assisted in the development of both DNV GL and International Standards regarding Geotechnics and Offshore Wind. As Regional Manager, David is responsible for the certification of renewable energy projects within the US, focusing primarily on our role as Certified Verification Agent (CVA).
