Bill Blanchard – current Sr. Vice President of Business Development for the Fabrication Division of Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. located in Houma, LA.; a 1982 graduate from LSU in Mechanical Engineering with over 37 years of experience in the oil and gas industry; Bill has been serving in his present position with Gulf Island for the past 1 year, and previously held positions at Gulf Island, LLC of President / General Manager for 12 years, Estimating Manager for 6 years commencing in Jan. 2000. Prior to his employment with Gulf Island, Bill spent 10 years as Sr. Project Manager and Sr. Estimator working for Global Industries in Lafayette and Houma, LA. His early years following college graduation were spent as a Project Engineer with Santa Fe Offshore Construction as well as Texaco in the South Louisiana area.
