Rain is a Chief Engineer for Offshore Wind with K2 Management with 20 years of hands-on, practical experience in on- and offshore wind energy. Rain leverages her broad technical expertise and deep turbine technology knowledge to provide construction and project management support on a range of engagements. Prior to joining K2 Management, Rain worked as Principal Engineer with ABS Group, where she provided subject matter expertise, project management, third party verification, and technical oversight of offshore wind and other renewable energy projects. Rain's engineering expertise includes mechanical, electrical and structural engineering, and she has worked in solar, on-shore wind, and offshore wind. She has also been a hands-on contributor and manager of activities from engineering and design through to construction and commissioning. A Professional Engineer, Rain earned her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
