Jeff LaValley

Jeff LaValley is the owner of J&J Insulation Services in Washington State. He has been involved in the spray foam industry since 2004. A native of Montana who graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in communication, LaValley spent 10 years in the ag chemical industry as a territory sales manager for Rhone-Poulenc Agro Chemical Division, before re-locating to Washington State in 2001. Upon moving to Washington in 2001, Jeff began working in construction material sales and saw a need for spray foam in the growing residential housing market. In 2004, Jeff jumped into the spray foam industry. Jeff has sprayed millions of board feet of foam, and still works in the field on a regular basis. Jeff’s experience in the spray foam industry is extensive. Though most of his work is in 2lb wall foam, Jeff has done extensive work in other markets, including ag storage, cold storage, marine fishing vessels, wine Tanks and roofing foam and coatings. Jeff is on the SPFA Equipment Committee and instrumental in designing and testing new and better spray foam equipment & guns. A solid understanding of building science and a continuing desire to learn as much as he can, have given Jeff the tools he needs to work with contractors and customers to ensure that the installed insulation is the correct application and done the “right way” rather than the “cheap way.” “We are always learning in order to do our job right…... and we can learn from anyone and anything.”
