Micha Star Liberty has a diverse legal practice representing plaintiffs in cases of sexual assault and abuse, unlawful employment practices, catastrophic personal injury and mass tort, as well as defective products. A frequent lecturer and published author, Ms. Liberty focuses much of her public speaking on trial practice, discovery techniques, the importance of mentoring, and the best practices for opening a law office and law office management. Ms. Liberty has penned countless scholarly legal articles, and was a contributing author and editor for the following practice guides: California Client Communications Manual, and California Basic Practice Handbook, published by Continuing Education of the Bar. She is honored to serve as a CAOC Vice President, State Delegate to AAJ, to have been a past president of her local TLA and a past Vice President of the State Bar of California, among other leadership roles in the profession. Ms. Liberty’s accomplishments have received numerous awards and recognition from her peers in the legal community and politicians, like winning Street Fighter of the Year from CAOC, however, what she is most proud of is helping get legislation passed to protect children who have been sexually abused when they seek civil redress.
