Herb Hargraves grew up in the small town of Dexter, Maine. He was the youngest of three children raised by Kathy and Herbert J. Hargraves Jr. Growing up, Herb became a young entrepreneur; he began his first career at the age of 12 as the owner of a lawn service. He spent his younger years developing a drive for success and still found time to relax regularly in the salty mist of the cold Maine Coast. After graduating from Dexter Regional High School, he went on to receive a degree in Industrial Technology from Kennebec College. Using his degree and the skills he learned from running his own business, he has worked in the fields of: manufacturing and production, transportation, telecommunications and now fuel and retail. Herb began his career in fuel and retail with Cumberland Farms; a well-known and respected fuel provider in the North Eastern Region of the United State. While there he developed his knowledge of the fuel and retail industry and went on to become an area sales manager for them. Today, Herb is currently employed as Vice President of Clark Oil. Clark Oil Company is a locally owned, family company with 45 convenience stores and 4 truck stops throughout South Mississippi and South Alabama. He controls all marketing and operations across the chain of 49 locations.
