Eric Lantz is a Senior Energy Analyst specializing in wind power policy, markets, and technology. In his current role Eric manages a team of analysts whose work characterizes the potential role of wind power within the electric sector and examines the impact of specific wind R&D innovation opportunities on future wind power costs. Among his past accomplishments, Eric was a lead analyst and senior advisor for the DOE Wind Vision report. Previously, Eric has led other high profile work including an examination of tax credit extension scenarios for wind power conducted at the request of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. Eric is active in two working groups of the International Energy Agency focused on social acceptance of wind and international trends in wind power technology and economics. He holds an M.S. in Energy Policy from the University of Colorado.
