Alex Korting Theme Park Design


Alex Korting is a freelance concept designer with 15 years of experience in the themed entertainment industry. Studying architecture to base his imagination on solid foundations, he quickly began to design for ride manufacturers, design studios and theme parks such as Hansa-Park, Parc Asterix and Erlebnispark Tripsdrill. At Hansa-Park he has been involved in the transformation of the former amusement park into a story-driven theme park, creating concepts and designs for new lands and attractions as well and reimagining old ones. Alex is passionate about creating unique story driven experiences through authentic, researched and responsible design. When he’s not in his studio designing things, Alex enjoys the cultural activities of Berlin, finds inspiration in musical theatre and enjoys writing about himself in third person.
