Graduated from “l’école nationale supérieure d’arts et metiers de Paris”, François has been in the leisure parks sector for almost 30 years. He was the Disneyland Paris's technical director until 2006. He joined Compagnie des Alpes as director of the Belgian parks (Walibi, Aqualibi and Bellewaerde) before being appointed in 2007 director France (including the park Asterix). Since the end of 2013, he is the director of the Leisure division for the Compagnie des Alpes (7 theme parks, 4 edutainment sites and 2 water parks)
