Jeff Appleby is responsible for the origination and execution of a variety of real estate investment banking transactions including IPOs, equity and debt offerings, M&A and financial advisory work. Since joining CIBC Capital Markets in 2002, Jeff has worked on hundreds of public equity and debt offerings raising billions of dollars for real estate issuers and has worked on M&A advisory assignments totaling $20B. Recent transaction experience includes Choice Properties’ $1.3B unsecured debenture offering in support of its acquisition of CREIT, SmartCentres’ $429M acquisition of a 12 shopping centre portfolio and Chartwell’s $200M unsecured debenture IPO.
