Jennifer Laforest is an Associate Director who works with Cushman & Wakefield to provide solutions to owners of commercial real estate. She is currently responsible for the oversight of 1.3M sf of commercial office space in Crystal City, Virginia. Jennifer knows that raising the bar with property operations results in a better working environment for building tenants and a better investment for the owners of that real estate. Jennifer has worked in commercial real estate management for 15 years and has held various roles with Jones Lang LaSalle, Akridge, Vornado/Charles E. Smith and subsequently JBG SMITH prior to joining the Cushman team in 2018. Jennifer's professional designations include Certified Property Manager, LEED Accredited Professional O+M and Real Property Administrator. She is currently serving as President of the DC Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Jennifer has been featured in several industry publications such as Today's Facility Manager and BOMA Magazine and in 2017, she led her team to win the prestigious TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) award. Jen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Marketing from American University.
