Mike Gatto has over 25 years of experience in facility and event management and has planned and managed a variety of high profile events, including everything from Andrea Bocelli and the Grateful Dead Stadium Concerts, to the 2005 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four as and Heavy Weight Championship Boxing. He is currently a Vice President for CASE (Columbus Arena Sports & Entertainment) and General Manager of the Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center, a 20,000 seat multi-purpose arena located on the campus of The Ohio State University. The “Schott” is nationally recognized as one of the premier university arenas, and is home to OSU men's and women's basketball, OSU men's ice hockey, and a variety of cultural and entertainment events. Mike also oversees the booking and marketing of special events at Nationwide Arena, a 20,000 seat multi-purpose arena that is home to the NHL Columbus Blue Jackets. Prior to coming to Columbus, Mike worked at the Thomas & Mack Center and Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Widener University in Chester PA and a Masters of Education degree in Sports Administration from Temple University, in Philadelphia, PA. He resides in Westerville, Ohio with his wife Mary, and his children Allison ( Speech Pathologist) and Anthony (junior at Miami of Ohio).
