David Daly, CVP has held a variety of positions in non-profit, higher education, and private venue management. David’s nineteen years of progressive experience in the performing arts encompasses programming, booking, operations, marketing, ticketing, and event management. David recently served as the Director of Programming for the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center in Sandy Springs, Georgia. As a senior member of the leadership team, he was among those responsible for opening the venue in 2018, and curated performances for the venue’s 1,000-seat Byers Theatre and 350-seat Studio Theatre. David previously served as the Director of Programming and Facilities at Kennesaw State University, overseeing the operation of the Bailey Performance Center, featuring the 600-seat Morgan Concert Hall. Other previous employers include the Eastern Music Festival, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. David was among the inaugural class of professionals to be awarded the designation of Certified Venue Professional in 2016, and is a 2014 graduate of the IAVM Venue Management School. He is a member of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters and the Georgia Presenters Network, and has served as a peer reviewer on grant panels for the Georgia Council for the Arts, the Fulton County Arts Council, and SouthArts. David received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the Hodgson School of Music at the University of Georgia, and the Master of Business Administration degree from Kennesaw State University's Coles College of Business.
