Randy has a degree in journalism but has never been a conventional news reporter. He is one of the first online publishers, establishing his flagship feature This is True in early 1994. Billed as “Thought-Provoking Entertainment,” the email newsletter has run weekly ever since. Randy has written 38 books, lives in rural western Colorado with his Mensan wife and decidedly non-Mensan “writer's cat,” and volunteers as an emergency medic for his community. The Los Angeles Times said of him: “Cassingham is a humorist for the Information Age, an Internet-savvy satirist, and social commentator.”
