Philippe Pontbriand holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from McGill University in Canada. Since 2006, he has worked with a number of wind energy consultants, holding the positions of coordinator – met mast operations, renewable energy analyst and technical manager for wind and solar energy projects. In 2018 he took the role of Director Energy Resource for Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc.  Over the past 12 years, I have been directly involved in the development of more than 3,000 MW of wind and solar power, either already commissioned or under contract. In 2017, he was nominated by CANWEA for the R.J. Tremplin award for outstanding technical achievement. Philippe Pontbriand is the founder of CFARS a consortium dedicated to improve the acceptance of remote sensing that regroups over 15 lead renewable energy companies.
