Paula Simmons

Paula Simmons is the Vice President of Human Resources at Southwire. As Vice President of Human Resources, Simmons leads the people strategy and support efforts for Southwire’s commercial team as the company continues to Build Organizational Capability and strives to foster a culture of trust, empowerment and inclusion. Simmons received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and her master’s in administration from Central Michigan University. She worked for many high profile businesses before joining Southwire in 2013. She has worked closely with the Human Resources department, where she has been instrumental in cultivating relationships between several business groups. Simmons is a board member of the West Georgia Habitat for Humanity and City Station Preschool. She volunteers with CASA and the children’s ministry at her church. Simmons lives in Carrollton, GA with her husband Eric and three children Wesli, Pierce and Zane.
