Captain Josh Fentress is a 17 year veteran of the fire service and has held the rank of Firefighter, Master Firefighter/Paramedic, Fire Captain/Paramedic and Acting Battalion Chief. He is currently assigned as the Senior Captain to the busiest engine company in the Virginia Beach Fire Department, Engine 7. Captain Fentress has been involved in several department initiatives to include the Engine and EMS Committees. Josh holds a Bachelor degree and is a tenured paramedic. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as long walks on the beach!
