Bill oversees the procurement of power supply and management of EBCE’s energy portfolio including resource planning, risk management, and compliance reporting. Prior to joining EBCE, Bill spent the previous 13 years at SMUD performing portfolio management functions in various energy trading roles. He has experience with transactions involving power, transmission, capacity, ancillary services, options, physical & financial natural gas, pipeline transport & storage. His experience also involved optimizing the dispatch of generation resources such as large hydro units, natural gas plants, wind, solar, demand response, and scheduling of energy imports to serve load in a Balancing Authority.
