Abby Wells Baas is an Agent at WME, leading global entertainment agency. In this role, she oversees the daily touring, television, literary and sponsorship opportunities for several well-known artists including Kenny G, Easton Corbin, Thompson Square, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ruthie Collins, Natalie Stovall, Dillon Carmichael, Double Dare Live and comedian Jon Reep. She has previously helped guide the careers of Ralphie May, Lee Ann Womack, Craig Morgan, Jason Jones, Brandy Clark and Maggie Rose. Additionally, she work across the WME Nashville Roster booking concerts in arenas, amphitheaters, theaters, PACS and casinos in the Great Lakes States territory. Abby serves as a mentor to recently appointed agents, trainees, and assistants at WME, providing a sounding board to young professionals and helping them navigate some of the early challenges of developing an artists’ audience and brand. Abby’s hard work and determination led her to receive IEBA’s New Agent of the Year Award in 2002. She was a recipient of the Nashville Business Journal’s Women in Music City award in 2018. In addition to her work at WME, Abby is also very passionate about giving back. She sits on WME’s Civic Engagement committee and participates in WME’s Women in Music, Talk the Talk programs and UNICEF USA. She is also very active in the Nashville community. Abby is an alumni of Solid and Leadership Music. A mother of three, Abby is an avid adoption advocate and regularly volunteers her time at Edmondson Elementary School, is a Cookie Mom for Girl Scout Troop 1255, and co-chairs the community engagement committee for her neighborhood. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a BS in Recording Industry Management and minors in Entertainment Technology and Mass Communication.
