Dr. Beuscher recently celebrated 30 continuous years of WOC certification! She has worked in a variety of health care settings in a variety of states. The constant in her career has been innovation, program development and WOC nursing! She currently serves as the Accredited Provider Program Director for the WOCN Society. She is a chapter author and contributor to the second edition of the WOCN core curriculum textbook on wound care. Dr. Beuscher is the recipient of the 2023 WOCN Society Presidents award. By day she is a Nurse Practitioner at the Duke University Cancer Center where she runs a clinic for individuals with ostomies and cancer related wounds.
