Ellyn Ford is the CEO and a founder of CBD Revolution, a Portland, Oregon topicals producer since 2015. Ellyn has been involved in the cannabis industry for many years as a producer and activist. As a member of the Oregon Liquor & Cannabis Commission Rules Advisory Commission representing cannabis topicals, she was involved in drafting the regulations that resulted in CBD topicals being classified as cosmetics, like all other mainstream cosmetics—opening the markets in exciting new ways. CBD Revolution is a member of the Oregon Hemp Industrial Association, which is involved in developing guidance for the FDA regarding hemp and CBD products. Ellyn has extensive experience in working with retailers in the boutique and gift industry, specializing in high-end products. Earlier in her career Ellyn spent several years as a marketing researcher and as an adjunct professor at the Golden Gate University Business School in San Francisco.
