Matt is a senior vice president focused on renewable and emerging energy initiatives. Previously he was the Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where he led the operational, financial and management oversight of the Departments of Public Utilities, Energy Resources, Environmental Protection, Conservation and Recreation, Fish and Game and Agriculture. He was the Chairman of the Massachusetts Energy Facilities Citing Board/Clean Energy Center and the policy lead for the development and implementation of a 1600 MW legislative OSW procurement for Massachusetts and he led the 2018 Environmental Bond Bill authorizing $2.4B in climate change/renewable initiatives.
