Jack Carr is a former Navy SEAL who led special operations teams as a Team Leader, Platoon Commander, Troop Commander, Task Unit Commander, Operations Officer and Executive Officer. Over his 20 years in Naval Special Warfare he transitioned from an enlisted SEAL sniper specializing in communications and intelligence, to a junior officer leading assault and sniper teams in Iraq and Afghanistan, to a platoon commander practicing counterinsurgency in the southern Philippines, to commanding a Special Operations Task Unit in the most Iranian influenced section of southern Iraq throughout the tumultuous drawdown of U.S. Forces. Throughout his life, Jack has been an avid outdoorsman, pursuing his passion for hunting and fishing throughout the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Argentina, Mexico, and Africa. He is a Benefactor Member of the NRA and has served on three NRA committees: Hunting and Wildlife Conservation, Education and Training, and Veterans and Military Affairs. He is a proud member of The Camp Fire Club of America, is a life member of Safari Club International, Dallas Safari Club, Houston Safari Club, and is a Chairman’s Club Member of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. He also serves on the board of directors of Valor for Life, a non-profit organization providing military veterans with no-cost surgical spine care. He is a partner and co-founder of Pineapple Brothers Lanai, a hunting operation on the Hawaiian Island of Lanai. He is a writer and sought-after consultant in the outdoor and tactical industries, regularly speaks on leadership and team building to business across industry, and is the author of the bestselling James Reece political thriller series published by Simon & Schuster.
