Denise Bottiglieri, PhD, is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience in healthcare marketing, education and communications. She has worked on launches for over 50 products in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Her understanding of what it takes to make a product successful in the competitive and highly regulated healthcare industry is what makes her so unique. She has an unparalleled understanding of science coupled with a strong business acumen. Denise was most recently Global Chairwoman of the Healthcare Consultancy Group (HCG). Prior, she was Global CEO of HCG for over 15 years. HCG is part of The DAS Group of Companies, a Division of Omnicom Inc. Denise received her PhD in pharmacology from the University of Florida and completed her postdoctoral training in clinical pharmacology at Vanderbilt University. She then worked at Pfizer, as Director of Drug Development, designing and executing multinational clinical trials. Denise is passionate about providing opportunities for veterans, supports organizations dedicated to treating PTSD and TBI. She serves on the board of the SEAL Future Foundation and served on the board of the New York Arthritis Foundation. Denise started Accelerate, the first Special Operations Forces veterans’ transition program at DAS. She volunteered for over 5 years building schools in Ecuador and is a strong animal rights advocate. At one time she wanted to be a physicist, but Maxwell’s demon got the best of her. Denise lives in Connecticut with her 5 dogs and partner Ed.
