Milo Sjardin is Chief Operations Officer of BloombergNEF (BNEF), based in London. In his current capacity he manages the firm’s operations covering strategy implementation, commercial execution and product development. Milo has been a leading expert in the energy transition since 2004. Over the past 15 years Milo has led BNEF’s Asia Pacific team out of Singapore, the North American analysis team out of New York, and co-founded New Carbon Finance out of London. He has advised many companies on their investment strategies and the implications of the energy transition on their businesses. Before that, Milo worked as a consultant on climate change policy and strategy for Enviros Consulting in London. Milo has an undergraduate degree in Physics and a Masters in Energy and Resources from Utrecht University.
