Kelly Memphis is the Council’s Manager of Government Relations and Stakeholder Engagement Practice, where she oversees programs and networks that help members leverage best practices in government relations at the federal, state and local levels. Previously Kelly worked for the American College of Cardiology (ACC) where in her role as state government affairs manager she built ACC’s brand as an influential advocacy organization among key national leadership organizations such as the National Lieutenant Governor’s Association and the National Conference of State Legislatures. She worked with coalitions and stakeholders across the country to impact policies on behalf of patients and health care providers. She also developed strong relationships with state legislators and policymakers, and led chapters across the country through dozens of successful advocacy campaigns, resulting in changes to legislation and regulation. Kelly received her B.A. Cum Laude in Political Science and International Studies from Towson University
