Ms. Carla Flores is a Program Analyst with the Department of the Interior’s Office of Financial Management providing visual insights into the Department's financial and performance results. Prior to joining Interior, Ms. Flores served as a Senior Accountant at the Department of Homeland Security's Financial Management Division, where she led the publication of the Department's award-winning Agency Financial Report, and made superior contributions leading to the Department's first clean financial statement and internal control audit opinion. Ms. Flores is an active member of the Association of Government Accountants, and currently serves as the Dallas Chapter Communications Director. Ms. Flores is a Certified Government Financial Manager, and a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, from the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce.
