Originally from Costa Rica, I'm now a San Francisco based wedding photographer. Although I first gained interest in photography in 2011 (and attended my first WPPI in 2012 on a whim), I dabbled in many other careers before becoming a photographer. From teaching to working at a law firm, nothing brought me as much joy as photography did. In 2015, I decided it was time to make the jump. I booked my first wedding that January (for October), giving me 10 months to learn how to be a wedding photographer. I took endless online classes, read multiple books, and attended another WPPI! To this day, I firmly believe that learning from other photographers is the best way to improve ourselves and our craft.
