Mike McClure brings more than 24 years of experience and qualifications in all phases of electrical line construction. Mr. McClure joined Sturgeon Electric as an operator in 1997. In 2007, he became a journeyman/lineman and in 2011, he became a safety engineer. Since then, he has served in roles of increasing responsibility until he obtained his current position as Director of Training in 2018. He is a skilled trainer and mentor in all aspects of safety performance and leads a team dedicated to addressing and evaluating the training needs of MYR Group companies and clients. Mr. McClure utilizes his professional expertise in the administration and support of health, safety and environmental programs on major projects throughout the U.S. Mr. McClure served as Chair of Best Practices Task Team from 2016-2019 and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
