Rod West is a senior staff engineer with Schneider Electric. West holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a registered professional engineer (PE). He has worked in the electrical industry for more than 28 years and holds a total of 12 patents for various types of electrical equipment and components. West chairs the board of directors for Whitewater Valley REMC, is a NAFI certified fire and explosion investigator and is a member of the electrical section of NFPA. He represents NEMA on CMP-8 for the National Electrical Code (NEC) and is a principal technical committee member for NFPA 70E, the standard for electrical safety in the workplace.
