Leonard Pickel has amassed a lifetime of Haunted Attraction Design and operational experience, with October seasonal events to year round haunted attractions, museums and dark rides. He has designed over 100 successfully creative events since his first attraction in 1976 and has provided consultation for hundreds more. Always an innovator, Leonard is constantly experimenting with new technologies, and searching for fresh new approaches to making money in the business of haunting. During his long career, Pickel has designed for major venues including Madison Square Garden, Universal Studios Florida, Six Flags St Louis, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags AstroWorld, Paramount’s Carrowinds, Paramount’s Kings Island, Kentucky Kingdom, and SCREAMS Terror Park. Leonard has designed Haunted Attractions in foreign countries including Puerto Rico, Canada, Russia, Australia and India. Over 1 million people from Los Angeles to New York, Orlando to Seattle, have experienced the “Pickel Theory” firsthand.
