Ankit Somani is the Co-Founder of AllyO, founding the company in May 2016. The company has been backed by Google AI, Bain Capital Ventures, Cervin Ventures, and the Randstad Innovation Fund. Previously, Ankit spent half a decade in various product management roles at Google, leading one of the first application of AI to the worlds of Enterprise Collaboration and Energy. Ankit holds over 10+ Patents and received his Master’s degree at Georgia Tech, where he helped Environment Protection Agency with carbon sequestration strategies and wrote a highly cited thesis on Data Center Energy Reduction strategies. He has a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras where his thesis on high-speed trains was published in international conferences.
