Margit Zsedely started photographing at the beginning of 2014 after selling her business, Margit Publications, a color and trend forecasting company servicing the apparel and home furnishing industry. In her photography today, Margit aims to see behind the traditional imagery of the world, to expose new views of our everyday lives. In her photography, Margit plays with light and shadow, shows the great architecture of New York, discovers street art, looks for minimalist images and finds a new world in reflections. Most of Margit’s photos are taken in New York City where she resides, but she has also traveled to and photographed South Africa, Galicia Spain and Cuba. Margit is a member of Professional Women Photographers (PWP) and the Sierra Club. Her photos have been exhibited at the Atlantic Gallery, Jadite Gallery and at the Ryan Chelsea-Clinton Community Health Center. She has also self-published Illume as well as a handmade book My Alter Ego.
