Dr. Rhonda Blackburn has been the president of Cox PTA in Wylie ISD for two years. She is now the 1st VP of Aide for Cox PTA, the SAGE Chair for the Wylie ISD Council of PTAs, and in the 2019 Class of the Emerging Leaders Academy for Texas PTA. She is also involved with the school district by being the VP of Development for the Wylie ISD Education Foundation and a mentor for a second grader in the district. She has three children; a senior at Stephen F. Austin State University, a senior at Texas A&M University, and a 3rd grader at Cox Elementary, and a wonderful husband who is the director of the Virtual Learning Academy at Lewisville ISD. Outside of the school district, Rhonda is the Chief Academic Officer at Barnes & Noble Education LoudCloud and has the opportunity to work with schools all across the nation.
