GIRLS Empowerment Network



Caroline Crawford is Chief Program Officer at GIRLS Empowerment Network. For more than ten years, she has built a career mentoring and volunteering with girls and boys including director of camps at Camp Champions. At GIRLS, she empowers students to grow their self-confidence and self-worth as they navigate the pressures of adolescence. She oversees a team that provides services in schools and in the community to create safe spaces for students to be wholeheartedly vulnerable and authentic while exploring who they are and who they want to be. Ms. Crawford holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Sociology from the College of Charleston, and a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. She received a certificate in Fostering Diversity & Inclusion from Yale School of Management in May 2019.
