As a friendly nerd in a world of powerful people, Dorothy got tired of being outclassed. She found a way to be respected, esteemed, and enjoy the options and opportunities that started opening up. Her mission is to teach everyday women how to gain the respect they deserve and enjoy the opportunities respect and esteem provide. She published her first works with the U.S. Department of Defense and Carnegie Mellon University and went on transform how military systems are developed and delivered. She later took those skills to industries including telecom, banking, stock-clearing, and more. She's a sought-after speaker and trainer, empowering women while respecting others -- after all, we're all in this life together. In 2019 she was selected to chair the inaugural HerStory Women's Global Empowerment Conference - Dallas, debuting during Women's History (HerStory!) Month, 2020.
