Joe Godas is currently serving as SVP Infrastructure, Architecture and Engineering for Charter Communications. Joe provides leadership and architecture solutions for Charter’s Core networking, DOCSIS and Access technology solutions. Godas began as a senior network engineer and architect working for Cablevision in 1992. He was a key contributor and innovator launching the first cable modem service which became the basis for the Optimum digital service suite. He played a major role in evolving and integrating Broadband data technologies for use in the successful launch of the company’s various digital service business strategies (Optimum Online, Optimum Voice, Interactive Optimum Video platform and Optimum/Community Wi-Fi). Joe continued on with Altice USA in 2016 and was responsible for CPE development, engineering and creation of technical standards used in the deployment of Altice USA’s next generation IP Video, Voice and Data product offerings. Joe is now working at Charter on key Network evolution strategies and the transformation of Engineering practices and Operational architectures to support them.
